Dr. David S. Thomason is an Independent Baptist preacher. As such, he is a fundamental, conservative, evangelical Baptist. The material on this site will broadly reflect that philosophy of ministry.
ABOUT THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We hold to it’s original inspiration and continued preservation. The Bible that we have today is God’s inspired Word. We hold to a literal, historical, grammatical, contextual, dispensational interpretation of God’s Word. As a result, we believe in a young earth creation.
ABOUT SALVATION
We believe all mankind are sinners, and stand in need of salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of our Lord and Redeemer Jesus Christ. It is all of God’s grace; it is none of man’s merit. We believe in a “whosoever will may come” genuine invitation to repent and believe the gospel.
ABOUT JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, the second person of the Trinity. As such, He is to be believed, worshiped, loved, obeyed, and honored.
ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person, the third person in the Trinity. We understand that the bible teaches that the Holy Spirit immediately indwells all believers at the moment of salvation during this church age.
